Live & Loud is a live album recorded by Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne, released on 28 June 1993 (see 1993 in music). At the time, it was to be Osbourne's final album.
The track "Black Sabbath" featured the original line-up of Black Sabbath from the Costa Mesa Reunion Shows.
In addition, there is also a DVD version of this release available (one of the very first DVDs ever released). The DVD is a compilation of live footage from several shows rather than a single concert: this is evident as Osbourne can be seen both shirtless and wearing different clothes during the same song, while guitarist Zakk Wylde can be seen playing up to three different guitars in the same song.
The album—along with The Ultimate Sin and Just Say Ozzy—has since been deleted from Ozzy's catalog and was not remastered and reissued along with the rest of Ozzy's albums in 2002. This is mainly due to a continuing legal struggle with bassist/songwriter Phil Soussan over the song "Shot In The Dark". This is the same reason why the studio album The Ultimate Sin and the live EP Just Say Ozzy were not re-released in 2002. Despite this, the track "I Don't Want to Change the World" appeared on The Essential Ozzy Osbourne in 2003, the album is available on the iTunes Music Store, and CD copies of the 1995 remaster are still available on Amazon.
Osbourne won a Grammy for the version of "I Don't Want to Change the World" included here.
In addition to the standard release in a 'fat-boy' 2CD case, the album was released as a digipak with a speaker grille cover and included tattoos, as well as the booklet.
Additionally, a single CD 'sampler' was issued as a promotional item.
Purported at the time to be Osbourne's final tour before retiring, it was titled "No More Tours".
